reImagining is a community engagement process designed to help shape a new future for the former Highland Golf Course site. More than 1,270 residents have participated in the engagement process to date, providing 739 ideas in five key areas (housing, traffic, commercial development, stormwater management and open space).
The development plan for Highland Village Green was accepted and circulated by The City of Calgary in December 2014. It underwent review and revisions before The Calgary Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the development plans on May 5, 2016. The next step in the process is a public hearing with Calgary City Council which will take place in July 2016.
The May 2016 amended version of the Outline Plan and Land Use Resignation can be downloaded here.
A series of Frequently Asked Questions about the project are also available for review.

More than 91 per cent of participants preferred Concept A, with its green spaces and linear pathway system offering a benefit for the larger community.
