Originally slated for the spring of 2014, reImagining’s Phase 3 engagement process was delayed to allow adequate time for site analysis and consultation with The City of Calgary.

Plans for the development were under technical review through The City of Calgary’s Corporate Planning Applications Group (CPAG) process from December 2014 to March 2016, with the original plan undergoing several revisions. CPAG recommended approval of the plan in March 2016. The plan was also recommended for approval by the Calgary Planning Commission in May 2016.

Since the original plan submission, three public information sessions have been held (January 2015 and March 2016) in conjunction with The City of Calgary, offering Calgarians a chance to review the plans. Additional meetings were held between the developer, area Community Associations and affected City departments from July to December, 2016. These meetings and the Green Line design charrette process have resulted in several changes to the plan which were presented to the community at a December 8 information session.

The next step in the approval process is a Calgary City Council Public Hearing in January 2017.

Additional updates on the plan will be provided on this website.  Many of the recent developments will continue to be highlighted in the FAQs on this site. You can also sign up for the project e-newsletter to ensure you stay informed throughout the process.
